Mgr. Linda Hejdová Lindová

Linda Hejdová Lindová is a lecturer in the Department of English at the Faculty of Education, UJEP, where she has taught since 2025. She holds a BA in Philology (English and Russian Translation and Interpreting) and an MA in Public Administration and Regional Development.
Her academic focus lies in literary translation, combining linguistic precision with cultural and stylistic sensitivity. She guides students through interpretative challenges, comparative text analysis, and practical workshops grounded in translation theory and ethics. Passionate about fostering critical thinking and creativity, she promotes cross-cultural dialogue and the artistic dimension of translation. Since 2019, she has also taught at Gymnázium Teplice, maintaining strong ties to the wider educational community.
